Patrick Brooks
Upper Elementary Sciences Teacher
Mr. Patrick is thrilled to be joining THINKschool and looks forward to getting to know the students and community. Most recently, he taught grades 4-6 at Windmill Montessori School in Brooklyn, beginning in 2017. He is a passionate educator that believes every child has unique gifts and can flourish in an innovative, loving, and supportive environment. He also believes that each child needs to develop essential skills, so they can more fully realize their potential and participate meaningfully in our democratic and modern society. Patrick is originally from Minnesota and worked on digital teams in the corporate world for 11 years before enrolling in graduate school and becoming an educator. He earned a master's degree in education and successfully taught all core
subjects, while helping students grow academically and socially, improve their confidence, and discover their passions. In his free time, Patrick is found on the hockey rink, reading, listening to music, visiting museums, traveling, playing guitar, writing, and spending time with his friends, family, and cat Gunther.
